#ESHackathon

The #ESTraining initiative is proud to be closely affiliated with the Evidence Synthesis Hackathon. The #EShackathon brings together software developers and coders with systematic reviewers and decision-makers to develop tools and frameworks to support evidence synthesis: by increasing efficiency, transparency, rigour and uptake of systematic reviews and evidence synthesis methods.

The ESHackathon regularly arranges highly interactive workshops and builds a community of practice in evidence synthesis technology. Part of this involves tackling key challenges in capacity building, for example helping to facilitate access to evidence for researchers working in resource constrained contexts.
